Rohan felt the urge to go to the washroom every time he ate something. Initially he used to think maybe it's just indigestion or some sort of food infection, but over time, it started becoming persistent. His work required him to travel a lot and he was always stressed about deadlines. This condition did not sit well with him as he could not eat anything outside and then worry about having to go to the toilet. It was spoiling his quality of life quite severely. That's when he approached us.
His test results were fairly normal so his doctors told him that it is anxiety and stress and that he should be focusing on reducing that. But he had no idea how to manage his condition.
His symptoms were driven by an imbalance in the gut-brain axis. This was causing his body to be stuck in a hypersensitive state. Lowering the stimulation on the body, reducing inflammation and improving the internal gut environment was key in healing his condition.
Simply adjusting diet and lifestyle would not be helpful in the long run if the nervous dysregulation was not addressed in the first place. Lowering the sympathetic tone was key in treating this imbalance.
Morning breathwork and light yoga, stress-aware meals with pre-meal relaxation, gentle gut-supportive herbs, evening meditation, structured sleep routine, and conscious disengagement from symptom monitoring.
Reduced baseline anxiety. Bloating intensity decreased. Sleep quality slightly improved.
For the first time, his stomach did not react before a stressful meeting. Knot-like sensation noticeably reduced.
Bowel movements became more regular. Nausea before events reduced significantly. Confidence improving.
No abdominal gripping, stable bowels, calm digestion, improved emotional resilience, and restored social confidence.
Rohan was feeling better and much in control over his health. He knew what to eat and what to avoid. And he knew how to handle his stress. His daily load of maintaining his deadline did not bother him as much as it used to and even if it did he knew how to handle his stress to not let it affect his health anymore. Rohan had stopped living and started thriving.
“I had read online that my symptoms were like IBS, but my test results were pretty much normal. Even my doctors suggested to me that it is just stress and that I should just focus on being calm and managing my diet but they didn't suggest what exactly I should do about it. When I approached Thavira, they helped me with the diet protocol and supplement aspect of it, and mainly they gave me an easy to follow yoga and meditation protocol which helped me to maintain my routine. Now I am feeling like I used to before I ever got the disease.”
