Pallavi’s mornings usually started well. Her stomach felt flat and comfortable when she woke up. But as the day progressed, she would start feeling tightness and heaviness in her abdomen. By evening, her stomach would appear visibly bloated, often making her loosen her clothes. She ate mostly home-cooked food and avoided junk, which made her even more confused about why her digestion felt so poor. Doctors advised her to increase fibre and salads, assuming it was constipation or gas. Instead of helping, this made her bloating worse and more uncomfortable.
The breaking point came when she realized that despite eating “clean” and avoiding outside food, her bloating was getting worse. She felt frustrated that doing the right things was not helping her digestion.
Her bloating was not due to food intolerance or allergy. It was driven by sluggish digestion, frequent eating without adequate gaps, and poor gut motility. Food was fermenting in the gut instead of moving forward efficiently, leading to gas buildup and progressive distension through the day.
This was not IBS or food allergy. It was a digestion and movement problem. Until digestion was strengthened and meal spacing corrected, bloating would continue regardless of how “healthy” the food was.
Fixed meal timings, warm and freshly prepared meals, mindful chewing, adequate gaps between meals, short walks after eating, evening light movement, and consistent sleep schedule.
Evening bloating reduced noticeably. Abdomen felt less tight by night.
Meals felt lighter. Gas formation reduced. Energy levels improved.
Minimal bloating by evening. Able to wear normal clothes comfortably throughout the day.
Pallavi reports stable digestion with no daily bloating. Occasional heaviness after overeating is manageable and resolves quickly. She understands how to adjust her meals to prevent symptoms.
“Bloating had become a part of my life. Almost every evening I would feel bloated and full to the point where I had to change my clothes to be comfortable. At first I thought it was just hormonal, but after consulting with Thavira, I realized that hormonal bloating is more in Luteal phase and is not an everyday thing. So, I followed the diet and lifestyle they gave me. And I also did the exercises and yoga everyday. All of which I believe helped together because within a month itself, I was feeling pretty lighter and my evening bloating was reduced. I am convinced now that all problems do have a root origin which is important to be treated.”
